9 October 2013: Development of the Transport System between Managua, Masaya and Granada, Nicaragua

team red and its Nicaraguan Partner PROCAD have won a Transport Study tendered by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Nicaragua. The Study is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank. As this is team red’s first project in Latin America we see it as an important milestone in the development of our international business.

The study includes the preparation of a traffic forecast model based on household surveys to be conducted in this project. Based on the demand and supply analysis the project will result in proposals for improving the public transport services on the Managua, Masaya and Granada corridor. Possible measures will be subject to a Cost Benefit Analysis.
